About Wilson Arch

Named after Joe Wilson, a pioneer of the Dry Valley, this large Entrada Sandstone arch has been sculpted over millennia by the forces of ice, wind, water, and time. Perched along Highway 191, south of Moab on BLM land, Wilson Arch offers an accessible retreat into the heart of Utah’s desert wonders. A well-marked pull-out, located less than a mile south of La Sal Junction, is the gateway to this natural monument.
